I've always found joy in capturing a moment, feeling, or look of glee in my kid's face...or the moment they touch a slimy worm! I would love to capture a glimpse of your life and the joy in your family.
I'm a mom to an enthusiastic 12-year-old boy and fiery 10-year-old girl and married to my college sweetheart (Go JMU Dukes!). Our house is full with four animals - Tess the dog, Lou the cat, and Jolly and Peaches the gerbils.
In May 2018 we relocated to East Cobb from Richmond, VA and are loving it!
Why hire a photographer
You know how teachers have a different effect on your kids than you do? Yeah, that's sort of the same with photographers. They may not love taking photos when it's you behind the camera but it can be different with me! I have kids, I know kids, and I do not expect perfect behavior. But with the quick shutter of my camera and my silly noises, you might be surprised at how many "good" ones there are in your gallery when you don't think the session went as well as you may have hoped.
Newborn sessions, phew, definitely hire a photographer haha. It's so different than family sessions and all about lighting, angels, and poses. You get to sit back and relax and I get to soothe and photograph your newest little love. You can even take a little nap, it's definitely happened to some of my new parents before.
